Glad your laptop has made a full recovery, and especially glad you didn’t lose anything important! I don’t know what anti-virus program you have, but I have Trend Micro Titanium, and it is a BEAST (in all the best ways). It will tear any whiff of virus, spam, and malware to shreds. 🙂
I might have to look into that one for next year. I *just* renewed Vipre, so we’ll be with that until December. Sadly, I think this was a virus that seems to be targeting routers in our area. I’ll be changing the password and securing that little guy, let me tell you.
